ABERDEEN, WA – History repeats itself as a Washington state man previously convicted for drug dealing has been arrested again, this time for allegedly selling drugs from the exact same motel room where he was apprehended in 2021.

The Aberdeen Police Department reported on Thursday that two suspects were arrested following a two-month investigation. The operation involved controlled purchases at the Aberdeen Motel on W. Wishkah Street.

On Tuesday, the Grays Harbor Drug Task Force (GHDTF) executed a search warrant at the motel and detained a 55-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman. Both were booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail on charges of selling fentanyl powder.

Evidence Recovered During the Arrest

According to Det. Sgt. Darrin King of the GHDTF, officers confiscated “several prepared bindles of suspect fentanyl powder ready for distribution, an additional baggie of fentanyl powder, and an undisclosed amount of cash” from the male suspect.

Authorities have not officially released the suspects’ names. However, jail records indicate that Thomas Arthur Bradshaw and Krista Jean Bradshaw were booked by the task force on charges of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance. Bail for Thomas Bradshaw was set at $75,000, while Krista Bradshaw’s bail was set at $25,000.

Repeat Offense in the Same Room

“Coincidently, the male was arrested for selling from the exact same room in August of 2021, convicted, sentenced, served his time, and released,” King said.

It seems old habits die hard—and apparently, so does the choice of motel rooms. If loyalty points were awarded for repeat business, this might have been one expensive stay for all the wrong reasons.
