I’m born and raised in Missouri. My family has been here since it was the Louisiana Purchase. Not all Missourians are like that. Actually I know some real gullible ones. My entire family on the other hand is definitely like this. I don’t trust anyone on this planet 100% on anything. I pay attention all the time. I’ve learned how to tell if someone is genuine or not. Missourians like me that are like this. Typically we’re not told I Love You by one or both parents. We were also brought up believing Guy’s don’t cry. Guy’s don’t hug other male family members. I have never done a study but I think Missourians are typically like this because we weren’t shown how to let your emotions out. We bottle it up. Just my theory
Hey Tim! I love this! Thanks for reading and for your comments. It’s always fun to hear from folks with such strong ties to the area. We live in Minnesota but LOVE Missouri. Friendliest folks in the world…and don’t get me started on the food! LOL. Have a GREAT weekend! – Kitty (and Jack)
