If you’re like me, your heart starts beating a little faster anytime there’s a history tour or museum nearby! 🤓 💓

Okay, maybe I’m being a bit dramatic (or not, ask my saint of a husband, Jack, who’s accompanied me on wayyyy too many history-themed vacations hehe).

Nestled just three blocks from the Mississippi River, the Winona County History Center is a gem in downtown Winona, Minnesota. 🏛️Combining the historical charm of a 1915 National Guard Armory and the modern Laird Norton Addition, it’s a must-visit for history buffs and curious travelers alike. 🌉

This adorable dog is a history buff as well! He wandered the exhibits during our visit, and came over to say 'hi' a few times. The Winona County Historical Society is upping their game! You can even find unique historical artifacts like the Women’s Temperance Union Coffee Cart and J.R. Watkins’ Original Desk from 1868! 🛒
