Hey guys, it’s Kitty! If you’re looking for some gentle yoga postures, you’ve come to the right place! Not many people know this, but I am a certified yoga instructor and I love sharing the joys of yoga with others. Yoga doesn’t need to be scary, it actually can be easy and fun!

Jack and I just returned from over a month on the road. It’s the longest we’ve been away from home for awhile…we stuck pretty close to Minnesota, spending most of our time exploring Iowa. I’m excited about all the videos, vlogs and blogs we made along the way…stay tuned!

That said, one thing I forgot about constant travel, is how taxing it can be on the body. Sleeping in a strange bed, sitting on an unfamiliar couch, riding long hours in our truck…all of these little things can have a big effect on your overall well being and body’s natural comfort level.

Nothing Compliments a Fun Road Trip Like a Relaxing Yoga Class

If you’re planning on doing some travel this year (and we sure hope you are!) – I really recommend tossing a yoga mat in the trunk of your car and enjoying some stretching at your hotel or camp site. Nothing compliments a fun road trip like a relaxing yoga class.

If you’re a little lost on where to begin, there are TONS of yoga classes (from simple to advanced) taught by a wide range of instructors on YouTube. Years ago I even made one. Although, it’s mildly painful to share it with you now. Hehe.

You see, during my yoga teacher training (way back in 2015), I was really frustrated at how advanced many online classes could be, so I decided the first class I ever taught would be designed for everyBODY – and just to make things extra fun, I made a vow to film it and post it online. Yikes!! LOL.

Well, for a long time I was pretty embarrassed by the video…mostly because of my weight. I just hadn’t hit my goal yet. Also, Jack was just learning how to record audio outdoors (a big challenge in a city like Minneapolis with airplanes and the surface noise of a busy park)…long story short, he HATES the audio in this video. So a few years ago we took this video down (it lived on YouTube for a year or two and always received great comments back in the day).

What my soul does care about is feeling good…and sharing with others how to feel good.
