Gift Ideas and What We Love
Nate & Ally’s isn’t just about delicious frozen treats; it’s a journey into the heart of Winona’s history! 🍨🏛️ Housed in the charming, vintage Beck Building from 1886, this beloved local spot combines the joy of sweet flavors with a touch of nostalgia. The building itself has a rich history, transforming from a hardware store to the iconic Montgomery Ward, and various other businesses until Nate & Ally’s brought new life to it in 2016.
What we absolutely adore is the building’s historic charm – from the original maple wood floors laid in 1934 to the classic tin ceiling from the 1920s. Don’t miss the unique elevator door from 1934, now hanging from the ceiling, or the fireplace that, although not original to the Beck Building, dates back to 1886 from another Winona landmark. Enjoying a treat at Nate & Ally’s is not just about the food; it’s an experience steeped in the rich tapestry of Winona’s history. 🌟🍦🏢
